This salon is the CRÈME DE LA CRÈME in Astoria! Every staff member is fantastic! The cleanliness is impeccable! The owners genuinely value their clientele. Don't waste your time anywhere else! David is my preferred choice!
Recently relocated to the area and decided to give this place a try. The service was quick and friendly. My manicure was completed in just 20 minutes! They mostly listened to my preferences and were willing to make adjustments. I opted not to have my cuticles trimmed, and that was accommodated without issue. I did notice that the top coat application seemed a bit rushed and ended up drying unevenly (a common issue with Seche Vite if applied too quickly). When I pointed this out, they applied another top coat, which improved the situation but didn't fully resolve the problem. I believe starting over from scratch might have been the only solution, though it wasn't suggested, and I didn't have the time for it, to be honest. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I'll be sure to request a different top coat next time. Jack (possibly the manager?) was particularly charming and amiable. I'm thrilled to have discovered this place and will likely become a regular customer! The prices are reasonable, with a basic manicure costing $12.
I've had splendid experiences here for almost a year! They truly excel at their craft, putting so much care into nails and overall experience. The massages included in their manicures and pedicures are a delightful bonus. Remember to bring cash for tips, as they mainly accept credit cards. This is definitely my favorite spot in Astoria!
