Ideal Nail and Spa is exceptional for pedicures, and they always did my acrylics flawlessly. However, their gel manicures seem to lack longevity, lasting less than a week. Now that I've transitioned to gel manicures from tips and dip, I won't be able to continue going there. It's a shame because they excel in other services. Perhaps they need to enhance their gel application techniques.
I typically enjoy my visits here, but today was an exception. My nails are far from what I requested, and my finger was accidentally cut. My cuticles are in disarray, with some stained black. Despite my repeated requests for adjustments, the technician offered excuses for not being able to comply. It's only been an hour since I left, and there's already a mark on one of my nails. I've been a loyal customer for months without any previous issues.
My experience was quite disappointing. I came in for a gel manicure, and during the preparation, I requested my nail to be filed more as it was angled. Despite asking twice, my technician abruptly left without explanation, and another person had to finish the job. Upon her return, she only came back to collect her tip. The manicure left my cuticles looking rough, and the service did not meet my expectations. I would not recommend this salon.
