I had my hair styled on the 12th of September 2016. Unfortunately, I didn't inspect it closely after it was done. The next morning, I noticed that it wasn't well done at all. My spouse also noticed and questioned if that was the quality I paid for. The braids appeared worn out, as if they had been in for days. When I arrived at work on Monday, a colleague had the same style done and it looked neat. When she inquired about the stylist, I mentioned the salon I visited. She seemed surprised that I paid for that service. Feeling dissatisfied, I called the salon that afternoon to express my disappointment. The receptionist promised to inform the manager and have him contact me. After not receiving a call by Wednesday, I followed up. The person who answered said the manager wasn't available but assured me they would pass on my message. Despite multiple attempts to reach the manager, I received no resolution. Disappointed by the lack of customer service, I have decided not to return.
My niece visited the salon for a braiding appointment while pregnant. The stylist had to leave multiple times to attend to personal matters, causing my niece to stay at the salon from noon until 1 am. The following day, I contacted the owner, who was unhelpful and dismissive of the situation. His lack of concern and professionalism has led me to decide never to patronize the salon again.
