HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Started off decently. Then the gel polish began to bubble (resembling sandpaper) so I brought it to the attention of my nail technician. She removed it. I got burnt with the electric buffer. She left them bare, no polish & charged me $20. For what?? This was NOT my mistake. So I requested her to paint them with regular polish since I had to pay the $20 regardless. The application looks extremely uneven, chipping, the cuticles, etc. I just had these done. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. The proprietor Tony showed no concern that a customer was dissatisfied and THAT speaks volumes. His response when I mentioned the bubbling was well pick another color. The way the management deals with situations is crucial & I will never patronize this establishment again! Marvelous experience. A superb job on my senegalese twists before my holiday. They uphold their high-quality work and were flexible with their appointment slots. I got a manicure and pedicure for my birthday cruise. I visited Venus Nails & Spa in Stafford, where I had been before. A man did my nails, and they still look great - very happy with them for my 60th. However, an older gentleman did my pedicure. I thought it was okay, but by the time I got home, my pinky toe had chipped. Since I live in Woodbridge and had an early flight the next morning, I didn't have time to go back. I opted for gel nail polish on both my toes and hands. The gel polish on my hands still looks good after four days, but the gel polish on my toes washed off while I was showering on my right foot. I couldn't believe it - gel polish usually lasts at least two weeks. I'm quite disappointed. I had to wear my tennis shoes on my cruise as my toenails look terrible. I paid $120 and gave both a $10 tip. I took a picture of my toes, which you can see below. I have never seen gel polish wash off in the shower before. I’ve had my brows microbladed twice within five years. Kristal is truly a gifted artist. She is meticulous, leaves nothing to chance and is very hygienic. Her office/salon space is gorgeous, comfortable, super clean yet inviting and aesthetically pleasing. I will be back for another session before I move out of Virginia later this year. Her skill level is well worth the price of the micro-blading session. If you are interested in having beautiful eyebrows, but fearful of a negative outcome, you must book with Kristal! If you have had a negative experience with someone else, book with Kristal to experience a true professional! I have given this salon multiple chances, but each visit has been a letdown! Every time I bring my child in for braiding, we arrive on time only to be met with disappointment. Today was the final straw; I will never return! The owner overbooks appointments, leaving us waiting in the salon for 30 minutes before my daughter was even seated. Despite arriving at 11:00 am for an appointment, she didn't start getting her hair done until 11:30 am. It took the owner 45 minutes to complete just 2 braids.
