The sign outside indicated that walk-ins were welcome, so I decided to enter. The strong scent of smoke and nail polish greeted me, but I pushed through. As I sat down, I struck up a conversation with the woman beside me who had also walked in. She had been waiting for an hour and a half, but it had turned into a two-hour wait with no end in sight. I made the decision that it wasn't worth waiting any longer in that unpleasant environment on a Saturday afternoon. The lady next to me shared the same sentiment and left at the same time.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE nail appointment! The technician completely disregarded my preferences for my nails and toes. She made a mess with the acrylic, gluing my fingers together and leaving acrylic residue everywhere without bothering to clean it up. When I asked her to fix the shape, she responded with an attitude. Using the drill file, she filed my skin down to the point of causing pain, despite my protests. The end result was thick, poorly shaped nails that feel and look awful. I will never return to this establishment.
This has been the most disappointing acrylic nail experience I've ever had. I strongly advise going elsewhere to save both your time and money. During my 2 1/2 hours there, the staff barely communicated with me, only conversing amongst themselves. This lack of attention wouldn't have been an issue if the service had been satisfactory. I requested short almond-shaped nails but received medium stiletto nails instead. The technician neglected to remove my cuticles before applying the acrylic powder, resulting in a uniform thickness across my nails that looks unprofessional. My cuticles and the skin around my nails are excessively dry, and the overall experience was anything but relaxing. I now have to spend extra money to have them redone at a different salon. Avoid this place at all costs.
