$200 wasted. The salon was extremely disorganized. Loud noises were constant. Zero sense of relaxation!! My requests were completely ignored. I left feeling utterly cheated. I wanted a blonde look, but it seemed like no effort was put into my hair apart from a feeble attempt at curls. Disappointing!!! Definitely feel scammed.

It was quite a significant change, and they assured me that if I needed any adjustments within a few days once I got a feel for it, they would accommodate me. That thoughtful gesture really stood out to me, and I felt reassured knowing I had that option available.

Upon entering elan, my initial impression is a cozy welcoming ambiance. The design is exquisite and upscale with fun bursts of color and a stunning gold glitter floor. Abbey has been my service provider for years and she never fails to impress. She is incredibly well-informed about my skin, and customizes my facials for me. This can be tricky because I have very sensitive skin. She is the encyclopedia of skincare knowledge, ask her anything, she will have the answer. Abbey is someone who is consistently updating on new methods and products which means my facials keep improving. The most recent techniques and products she used were MAGICAL! My skin was angry when I arrived and poof, amazing when I departed. She remembers everything! I admire her as a person and a service provider. I frequently suffer from headaches/migraines, and she provided additional energy work for that. I feel a bit tender today, but I was very tense when I arrived. I visited on May 25th for a perm with Taylor. The photos in the white shirt were taken 3 days after my appointment. The other two show my hair from yesterday, just 1 week post-appointment. Perms aren't cheap, so for it to unravel in just three days and almost revert to straight after a week indicates it wasn't done right. I contacted the salon to report the failed perm and essentially returning to my natural hair. I requested a refund from the front desk since the perm didn't hold. I was informed that my stylist would call me back. When they did, I was told they don't offer refunds. The receptionist should be informed to avoid creating false expectations about refunds. For a failed service, a partial refund would have been fair. They also blamed the outcome on the weather, but I've had perms before and know this is due to the stylist's error. I wish they had invited me back to see the nonexistent perm instead of denying it and feeding me lies. I had high hopes, but sadly, it was a major disappointment. I feel deceived and swindled.
