I recently stumbled upon Blue Ridge Barbershop after an extensive search for a new barber closer to my home and reasonably priced. Blue Ridge had outstanding reviews online and a seamless booking process. The Owner Taylor even personally reached out to me via text before my appointment. I feel so fortunate to have found Taylor and this hidden gem of a barbershop with a fantastic community atmosphere, banter, and a charming private outdoor area to relax while getting a haircut. It's a little slice of heaven! My hair looks and feels better than it has in years, just after my second visit. Lucky me!

Taylor styled my hair for a special event I was attending. She was a fantastic communicator and was receptive to my ideas during the consultation and then executed them flawlessly. On the day of the event, she took into account my concerns (I have curly hair with lots of volume) and requirements. I knew I would be dancing vigorously at the event and needed my hair to stay put. While styling my hair, she regularly checked in on my preferences such as volume (the higher, the better!) and the comfort level in terms of tightness. Her upbeat demeanor made the whole experience feel like a casual hangout. The hairstyle turned out amazing! (I opted for a chic updo with a faux hawk twist). It held up all night and still looked great the next day! I'm excited for my next occasion to see what stunning styles Taylor can create with my hair!
