Nails Bar

I would rate this salon a 4.5 stars. The customer service is exceptional, and the salon is beautifully clean since its recent opening. The basic pedicure was great, but the shaping of my full set could have been better. The gel was a bit thick, but the design turned out cute. I just wish the shaping was cleaner and less bulky.

I had high hopes for this salon. It’s conveniently located, in downtown Allen Park, and supports local businesses. However, the manicurist who worked on my nails rushed through the whole process. She neglected some of my cuticles, even after I requested more attention. The way she removed them was uneven, and some nails still had overgrown cuticles. The painting job was sloppy, like a child had done it. My nails were filed too sharply, and I was left sitting in front of a fan for 30 minutes while she tended to another client. When she finally returned, I expected her to clean up the excess polish around my skin, but she just demanded payment. When I pointed out the mess, she became defensive and only partially cleaned it up with nail polish remover on a paper towel. I had to finish the job at home. I also had my eyebrows waxed, and the room was not clean, with a weed pen on the table. The wax burned me and left residue on my eyelids that I had to wash off later. Overall, a very disappointing experience. When I mentioned the sloppy nail job, they only offered to have someone else do them next time. Needless to say, there won't be a next time!

Brenda was amazing!! I absolutely adore my nails, and the massage chairs were heavenly!!! Helen also does fantastic work, so thank you all for everything. While I can't leave multiple reviews for each person who worked on my nails, I have to give a shoutout to Christina for always doing an incredible job. She's truly a gem!
