Quick and simple. This was my daughter's first haircut with a pro and she was super nervous and asked me beforehand to talk to the hairdresser for her. Normally, I struggle with cutting her hair at home, it takes ages, and we're both so tired and FINISHED by the time I'm done. It was a bit challenging to explain what my daughter wanted but the stylist understood with some picture examples. My daughter left extremely happy with the cut. I left happy not having to spend over 2 hours figuring out her hair and cleaning up afterward at home. Win-win! I deducted a star because the stylist seemed quite grumpy with us initially. However, she was very nice in the end. I'm not exactly sure what changed between the start and the finish, but I think she might have been irritated that I initially accompanied them to the chair to explain what she wanted instead of letting her do that part, and she was probably worried I would linger giving directions the whole time. I was just respecting my daughter's wishes and trying to make her comfortable. Hopefully, next time she'll feel confident enough to talk to the stylist herself. 😅
