Great Clips

This particular Great Clips establishment is utterly disappointing. During my initial visit, the stylist was impolite and unwelcoming. Despite my request for a simple low taper while retaining my bangs, she continuously talked over me and insisted on her own approach. The experience left me thoroughly dissatisfied, especially since the stylist struggled with operating the register. Despite this, I decided to give them another chance due to their proximity to my residence. My second visit was equally disheartening. I believe the hairstylist's name was Lila. She completely disregarded my plea to avoid cutting my hair too short. Instead, she disregarded my wishes and engaged in a lengthy monologue asserting her expertise. Once again, I left the salon feeling unsatisfied and with significantly shorter hair than desired. If you are comfortable with others dictating your haircut, this location may suit you. However, if you have a specific style in mind, I strongly advise against visiting this salon as they do not heed customer preferences.

My Hairdresser Sylvie has been cutting my hair for over a decade. She is an exceptional stylist, but she recently transitioned to a General Manager role, prompting me to seek out a new stylist. I had been frequenting the Laveen branch, but now I needed to explore other options closer to home. I decided to give the Great Clips at Christown a try for the first time. I utilized the online check-in service, and to my delight, there was no wait time at all. I was attended to by the stylist LULU, who exuded warmth and professionalism. I immediately felt at ease with her. She carefully followed my instructions and executed the haircut perfectly. I left the salon extremely satisfied and am eagerly anticipating my next visit to have LULU as my stylist.

I typically refrain from leaving reviews, but this time I feel compelled to share my experience. I entered the salon with very lengthy hair that reached my lower back. I clearly communicated to the stylists that I wanted to maintain my long hair with extended layers. However, the end result was far from what I requested. Instead of the mid/lower back length, my hair now barely grazes my shoulders. This drastic change was not what I desired, and I do not plan on returning. It is crucial for stylists to listen to their customers' preferences. We even had a discussion about my dislike for short hair, yet I ended up with a length I did not want!
