I wanted to share my experience after getting my tattoo but decided to validate my observations first. I had my sleeve tattoo done here a little over two years ago, I have quite petite arms so I was surprised that I could even have this done. The process was fantastic, I have a high threshold for pain and was well-prepared, so everything went smoothly. The tattoo artist was very friendly. They had some difficulty with the shading on a specific part of the design which caused some healing issues, but after a year, it healed perfectly. Unfortunately, due to lack of skin thickness in that area, my body started rejecting the ink, and I recently had to remove it as the tattoo was visibly protruding. I would recommend consulting multiple artists to assess the location before committing. It's disappointing, but I understand it's not the artist's fault. The studio is very hygienic, and I would definitely consider returning for another tattoo.
I absolutely adore Black Mountain Ink Works! I've visited twice for tattoos --once with Sam and once with Jordan--and they were both incredibly skilled and knowledgeable about the designs that would suit my style. The atmosphere there is fantastic, and they offer a diverse range of artwork to choose from. They strictly follow the highest standards of cleanliness set by the American Tattooing Institute and provide comprehensive guidance on aftercare and the appropriate size of tattoos. They also offer a complimentary follow-up session to ensure proper healing. I will definitely be returning for more ink!
I have never felt comfortable letting anyone near my eyebrows, but Taylor is such a talented artist that I immediately felt at ease. I am thrilled with my brows, and it's only been a day since the procedure. She dedicates ample time to perfecting her craft to ensure the client's satisfaction.
