I have frequented this store multiple times, and while the employee can be pleasant, I believe in not judging others for their behavior as we all have our off days. However, I prefer to simply grab my items and leave. Period.
My first visit to this store was delightful. The prices were reasonable, and there was a helpful and friendly lady working there, although I never caught her name. Thank you, everyone.
Today I visited this beauty supply store with my brother, nephew, and niece. Every time we selected an item, the employee would impatiently ask, "Is that all?" It felt like they were rushing us to make a purchase. When my niece reached for a fluffy toy purse, she was abruptly told not to touch it. I defended her by saying she was shopping, and the woman simply stated the price of $12.99. I replied that it was fine and if she wanted it, she could have it. To my surprise, the woman repeated, "Is that all?" I urge others not to patronize this establishment. I fail to comprehend why someone would open a store catering to African Americans if they are uncomfortable with us shopping there.
